Participation:
-
-
The Feud will start on Sunday, July 20th, 2008.
-
The Feud will end on Sunday, August 17th, 2008.
-
All members of the Clans may participate in any and every event.
-
Individuals seeking matches for Gaming Events should meet in #DBGaming or #ARCvsCPvsCSP. Though, if an individual joins the server - this too is acceptable.
- Participation points for each event will be calculated using the following formula:
Number of participants / Clan Roll x 100 = number of participation points
This will ensure that no Clan is provided with an advantage/disadvantage due to their current Clan roll in comparison to the other Clans and this will further impress upon the members the importance of Clan wide participation - since ultimately a percentage will be generated.
For example:
If all 81 of Arcona's members participated the formula would be calculated as 81 / 81 * 100 = 100 points. So with full Clan participation 100 points maximum can be awarded.
Likewise if only 12 of Arcona's members participated the formula would be calculated as 12 / 81 * 100 = 15 points (rounded up). So with full poor Clan participation far fewer points will be rewarded.

Discipline:
-
Members found cheating in any event (though most probably in the game oriented events) will be sent directly to the Chamber of Justice, all their previous entries will be deleted and further participation in the Feud will be revoked.
-
Rivalry is a major part of any Feud and while it is good to be proud of your Clan and have a desire to crush your unworthy opponents, at the same time we must remember why we are here - for fun. I whole heartedly encourage Clan appreciation and as with every Brotherhood event I am sure that there will be incidents on IRC and MB’s where members do have a go at each other. As long as you know when to stop and NOT get too personal then this is encouraged.
-
Take heed of what others around you are saying. If they ask you to stop then do so as this should in no way cause detriment to anyone elses Brotherhood experience.
-
Obey channel operators at all time.
-
Any member who is reported to take things to far will be issued ONE warning.
-
Should another incident occur then the three Clan Consul's will make a ruling on that member, most likely resulting in banishment from further Feud participation and all previous submissions deleted.
Submissions:
-
All submissions must be made using the appropriate links on the website. This allows easy filtering and management by the judges.
-
All submissions must be in the correct file format and include your Brotherhood ID line and appropriate subject line. This makes it easier for the judges.
- You are encouraged to CC (carbon copy) your Consuls on all submissions.
-
Members may only submit one entry per graphic/fiction event.
-
Judges should not be contacted for results of submissions. Any unnecessary queries may result in your submission’s disqualification. Results will be posted as they become available.
Antei Combat Centre:
-
Battles will be in a standard Vendetta format: that is, 2+2, with a 96-hour (4 day) post limit.
-
Weapons: standard and award weapons only.
-
Venues: the ACC staff will assign a venue to the battle.
-
The use of Clan-specific Force Powers will not be permitted in this particular competition.
- Members may not refuse a battle until they have 4 active battles running or they have opted out of the entire event for the full four weeks. Members who break this rule will be assessed losses for all battle denials prior to a battle acceptance.
-
Challenges may not be issued AFTER August 11th. This is to ensure an easy closure of the event and markign is completed on time.
Multiplayer Gaming :
-
The following platforms will be supported in this event: Jedi Academy, Jedi Outcast, Republic Commando, Empire at War/Forces of Corruption, and Battlefront 1 and 2. All normal Rites of Combat apply. Games must take place on a DB approved server and matches must be set in #DBGaming or #ARCvsCPvsCSP. Report matches using the OTHER GAMING option under Score Type until further notice. Ladders will be for JA/JO and OTHER. Ladders will be reset each week at 11:59 EST (DB TIME) Saturdays.
