Since stepping down as Consul of Arcona, citing full immersion in Shadow Crafting as his only reason for departure, Dark Jedi Master Mejas Doto effectively retired from active duty within the Dark Brotherhood; however it is well known amongst Arconans that the Shadow Master has continued to watch over his beloved Clan Arcona from the Shadow Realm.

During his address to the Clan, the history tomes of the Brotherhood record that:

"Mejas Doto was no longer Consul of Arcona, he had fused with its very essence…"

As was the case, Mejas had indeed passed over into the Shadow Realm, managing to live beyond his corporeal existence and thrive in an alternate plane. Mejas believed he could merge his very existence with the Darkness of Arcona and her Children of Chaos. Many believed he was mad, driven to delusions of grandeur by the Abyssal Tome. But they were wrong...

From this ethereal plane of existence, Mejas Doto has been a constant source of advice and council to his numerous successors. In allowing generations of Consuls to realise outstanding ideas, or avoid disasterous outcomes, the voice from the shadows has been the constant soul of Arcona.

In times such as these, when the souls of Arcona's Children of Chaos seem to be dying, the guardian of Arcona must come forth to ensure their survival. He must bring the history and legends of the Clan back to the forefront. He must reinvigorate her members, the very life force of the Clan.

That time is now, Arcona must be revitalised. The Dark Side itself demands it!
